- San Angelo Mission Trip:
Our church will be taking a mission
trip to San Angelo, TX from August 4th-9th. This will be
a trip to repair, paint, and clean one of the headstart campuses
in San Angelo. This project is a great way to minister to
a community as well as to the parents of the children who attend
this headstart. There are many projects that are going to
be done during this week. At the end of this trip we will
be heading to Odessa for Rock the Desert. This trip will
be no more than $150.00 We need people of all skill level.
The money will include all of your meals, activities, place to
stay, and materials needed for the week. This is a great
opportunity! Please consider joining us for the week.

- Pastor Search Committee:
Thanks for your prayers. We are getting many resumes
of many fine candidates. It is a blessing to see that the
Lord would have so many qualified people for His ministry.
Please pray that the committee hears His voice and chooses whom
He wants to serve at PABC. Thank you for the prayers you
have already petitioned the Lord with.
- Pittsburg Avenue Family Swim Night:
RESCHEDULED! The Pittsburg
Avenue Family Swim Night has been moved to August 16. This
is the perfect opportunity to invite all of those friends who
may be shy to come to church. Invite the whole family to
come get to know us on this night as we have a time of food, fellowship,
and swimming! We will begin the festivities with a hot dog
meal at Robinson City Pavilion at 6pm and continue with a swimming
party at the city pool from 7-9pm. Don't miss out on this
great fun! This is a free event sponsored by our church.

- Longhorn Caverns Trip:
We are planning an excursion to the Longhorn Cavern on July 27
immediately following church. The price is $6 for children
and $11 for adults. We will be leaving right after small
groups and we will be having a hot dog lunch there at the Cavern
Campgrounds. This is a great time for everyone to enjoy
and be a part of what our children are doing in Children's Church.

- Guest Speaker:
Dr. Mudliar from Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary will be
coming to town! Dr. Mudliar will be at the LanTex Theater
on Saturday night, August 2nd, to talk about other religions and
Christianity. On Sunday, August 3rd, Dr. Mudliar will be
preaching at PABC. Please invite anyone who would like to
hear about other religions to either service.
- AWANA:
We are preparing to start our 2008-2009 year. Registration
will begin in August. We are looking for help from everyone.
We need T&T Directors, a Games Director, and Leaders
at all levels. We also need people to be here to love our
clubbers. If you are interested, please contact Sandi Jonas

- Extra Worship Time:
If you are looking for an extra time of worship, a part of the
worship team is at the church every Thursday night beginning at
8:30pm. Come listen!
